Please be aware of our Policies & Guidelines listed below before making your Reservation.

  • Camping Check-Out Time is Noon; Check-In Time is 2PM.
  • Cabin Check-Out Time is 11AM; Check-In Time is 2PM
  • We take our last camper Mon.-Thurs. by 6:00pm, Fri. & Sat. by 8:00pm, & Sun. by 3:00pm
       *If you cannot make it in by last call, NO WORRIES! Please call or text the office to make arrangements for an afters hours check-in.
  • Early check in or late check out is an additional $5.00 per hour.
  • Late check-out is only available if the site is available. **You must check with the store staff for a late check-out.
  • Your campsite rental allows one camping unit per site. Please check for approval & pay in the store before erecting additional tents on your site.
  • We provide one picnic table per campsite. Please do not take more than one.
  • We provide one fire ring per campsite. Please do not move the fire rings.
  • All trash must be taken to the dumpsters at the camp entrance/exit.
    QUIET TIME:
  • Quiet Time is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • All children are to be at their campsite during quiet time.
  • No roaming the roads at night.
  • No loud music or loud talking after 10:00 PM
  • Please be considerate of other campers.
  • Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Alcohol is allowed at your campsite ONLY. Do not bring alcohol into our buildings.
  • Minor consupmtion of alcohol is illegal and is not tolerated.
       **HOFFMAN LAKE CAMPGROUND IS NOT A PARTY PARK! THIS IS A FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT FOR ALL TO ENJOY! 
         Intoxicated and/or disruptive campers violating the quiet time policy will result in an early departure and/or a call to local authorities.

    POOL:
  • We do not offer day passes for our pool.
  • The pool is strictly for the use of our paid campers and their paid visitors.
  • No diving. No running.
  • No unattended children.
  • No bathing suits from the lake to the swimming pool until they have been rinsed at the pool shower!
  • No food on the pool deck. (A picnic pavilion is located next to the pool.)
  • Check-out is at noon. Do not head to the pool after you clean off your site.
    VISITORS:
  • All visitors to your site must register at the office upon arrival & pay the daily fee.
  • Visitors must display the current/dated visitor pass in their rear-view mirror.
  • Any camper caught sneaking in a visitor or "swiping in" a vehicle will have their gate pass privileges revoked.
  • Continually disregarding this policy will result in removal from property without the possiblitiy of returning. 
  • All visitors must leave the park by 10pm or pay to stay another day.
  • No more than 8 people per site.
  • We do not offer local day passes.
  • Our facilities are for our campers use only.
  • No pool passes.
  • We do not have a public beach, HLC is a privately owned campground. The private property is for the use of our paid campers only.
    TENT CAMPING
  • We do not offer tent camping.
  • We do not offer primitive tent camping.
  • No group tent camping.
  • We have limited tent space available for RV campers who wish to have their visitors use a tent on their site or an open site near them for $30 a night.
  • Visiting groups of 3 or more tents will not be granted a reservation.
  • One tent per site.
  • We charge $30 per night per tent.
    GOLF CARTS
  • NO GOLF CARTS. We do not allow weekend campers to bring personal golf carts.
  • Seasonals may use golf carts with proof of insurance, proof of handicap, & pay $25 per season.
    SLOW DOWN!
  • 5MPH SPEED LIMIT: Please observe the 5 MPH speed limit at all times throughout the park. This pertains to both cars and seasonal golf carts. Our roads are narrow & children are always at play. SAFETY IS FIRST AND FOREMOST!! Those caught speeding through the camp/driving wrecklessly will be asked not to return to our family camp.
  • No refunds or rainchecks are given in the event of inclement weather, personal issues or other unforseen circumstances. No refunds for early departure. If you shorten your stay, you will be charged for the full time of the original reservation. Every camper is advised to check the conditions of the campground before paying for a campsite. *Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore no refunds for shortened stays. We do not charge more for fantastic weather.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY:
    Cancellation fee is a $25 minimum per individual reserved lot. The cost of cancelling a non-holiday reservation is $25. 
    HOLIDAY cancellation fee is $50 per reserved lot. If you are cancelling for a group, each site will be charged $50.
  • NO REFUNDS at the 10 day mark. Canceling a reservation at 10 days or less, all fees are non-refundable.
    -Canceling a reservation within 10 days of your arrival date? No refund.

Daily Rates

  • Rates includes 2 Adults & 3 Children.
  • Additional People will incur a charge of $5.00 per person per day; on Holiday Weekends the charge will be $8.00 per person per day.
  • No more than 8 people per lot.
  • You may put a tent on the site with the RV/Travel trailer for $30 per night. However, we do not take tent camping reservations. No tent camping groups.
  • Holiday rates are adjusted to a 3 night holiday package price.
    EW1 - EW28, $120.00
    M1 - M12, $130.00
    C1 - C5,  $140.00
  • Holiday weekends must be paid in full at time of reservation. If a cancellation must occur there will be a $50 cancellation fee up to 10 days prior. NO REFUNDS if canceling within 10 days of the reservation.
  • Honey Wagon Service: On schedule pump-out $10.00 (must be on the list by Sunday for Monday). Seasonal off schedule pump-out $20.00 (Tues. - Sun.) The honey wagon is available to our weekend campers for $15.00
  • *7% State tax has not been included in rates listed.

Seasonal Rates and Information

  • Gates open April 15th. No one is permitted on the grounds with a vehicle prior to April 15th.
    You may however walk to your camping unit at anytime for clean-up & check-ups. No overnight stays until April 15th.
  • Seasonal rent must be paid in full by April 15th. A grace period is extended for 10 days.
    ***The contract is null and void as of April 25th. The camper will then be removed from HLC property and stored at the owners expense.
  • You will incur a late fee of $100 after April 15th.
  • An additional $50 late fee if you pay on April 25th.
    You may be thinking, "How do I pay rent if the camp is closed??"
    1.) You may send as many payments via check or money order through the mail from September to April.
          -The payments will be recorded and deducted from your total due as they are received.
    2.) Seasonal rent may be paid in person on the designated payment day (The Saturday before April 15th)
    3.) Seasonal rent made be paid in person by appointment only during the off season. Text 574-376-5414 for appointments.
  • -A $100 discount is offered to all those willing and able to pay their seasonal rent in full before closing day.
  • Seasonal rent payments made with a credit card will be charged an additional 3%.  We accept Visa, Master Card, & Discover.
  • Our seasonal contract is for one in home family. (2 adults & 3 minor dependent children living in the home.) The contract does not include multi-generational homes or extended family members. Adult children, siblings, parents, friends, grandchildren, etc. are not covered on the seasonal contract. These people cannot be added to the contract at a later date. No exceptions. Visitors are $5.00 per person per day. $8.00 per person per day on the 3 major holidays. No pay, No stay.
  • All Seasonal Sites have metered Electric. The rates below do not include Electric.
  • All seasonal sites require a $100 nonrefundable deposit to hold the same lot for the next season. There is an additional $50 deposit for electricity.
    Seasonal Rent is nonrefundable. However, it will be handled on a case to case basis in the event of a tragedy or extreme circumstances.
  • HLC owns 14 pier slots. Seasonals may rent a slot for your boat on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $150.00 per season.
  • Seasonal Monthly sites are limited. (Call to ask about availability.) The cost is $500.00 per month. (Electricity is included in this rate.)

WONDERING WHAT TO BRING TO THE CABIN??
    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Linens? Bring all of your own bedding. HLC does NOT supply linens or towels. (Twin size bunk bed and a full-size bed or futon in each cabin.)
  • Air conditioning? YES!! There is an air conditioner & space heater in each cabin.
  • Kitchen? No kitchen. However there is a full-size refrigerator and microwave and each cabin.
  • Boat? You may dock your boat at the pier in front of the cabin. There is a one time charge of $7 per boat (or kayak) at check-in.
  • Utensils? We do not supply any dinnerware or utensils. Please bring all of your table service with you.
  • Bathroom? There is a half bath in each cabin. A toilet and a sink. We have two well-maintained bath houses on property. The showers are cleaned daily.
  • Trash? There is a full size trashcan in each cabin. We supply two garbage bags. At the end of the stay garbage goes to the dumpsters at the exit of the campground.
  • Dogs? Cats? Animals? NO. There are no animals allowed in our cabins.
  • Smoking? NO! Absolutely not. NO SMOKING in our cabins.
  • Visitors? We do allow visitors. They must stop in register at the store. Visitors are $5.00 per person per day. $8.00 per person per day on the holidays.
  • Parking? Yes!! There is plenty of parking behind the cabins. Each cabin can have two vehicles. One visiting vehicle is allowed. All additional vehicles must park at the entrance of the camp.

  • All Guests will pay a $5.00 fee per person per day.

Rentals

  • Banana bikes and pedal carts $3.00 per half hour $5.00 per hour.
  • Rowboats for $20 per day. + $20.00 refundable deposit upon return of the boat and accessories.
  • Pedal boats are $8.00 per hour.
  • 20, 30, & 50 AMP adaptors can be rented at the store for a fee. ($10-$20 depending on size)

  • Boat pier space $150.00 for season (limited space first come first serve).

Pets

  • We allow dogs & cats.
  • No hooved animals of any kind.
  • Pets must be leashed when outside the camping unit and never left attended.
  • When walking a pet, use a 6 foot or shorter leash and be a person capable of controlling the pet and cleaning up after (please carry the proper items).
  • Pets are not allowed in the camp store, beach area, bathhouse, or playground.
  • No loud or excessive barking will be tolerated.
  • No aggressive behavior.
  • NO PETS IN CABINS!
